This year, the Hubby and I avoided the Valentine’s Day Dinner rush.
A week later, we celebrated 10 years together over a scrumptious dinner at Co Co Sala in Washington, DC.
I was introduced to this restaurant by 2 friends, Phoebe and Ajoia, in 2014.
We stopped there for dessert after dinner at SEI.
After our dessert escapade, which was A M A Z I N G, I looked up their menu and just couldn’t wait to pay them another visit.
The Libido (YEEEEEEEES, I had to) for me & the “MMM” Malted Milk Martini for Hubby.
Both delicious & licked most of the whipped creme on hubby’s drink LOL.
He said his drink was girl-ish LMAO!
I loved the Chocolate Ice Cubes in mine.
O M G ! ! ! Thee best ! ! !
The Crostini was beyond words. Delicious does not do it justice.
I don’t know why I always fall for Shrimp & Grits. ALWAYS!
So yeah, Prawns & Grits pour moi and Black Pearl Salmon pour le Hubby.
All finger licking good. Loved the grits.
Prawns were delicious, cooked perfectly but wished they were bigger in size [my greedy self speaking].
The Cocoa Nib Biscuit was a nice addition to the dish and as it bought
a sweet and savory aspect to the dish.
You bet I had room for dessert!
No way I could leave without having some sweetness to make this amazing dinner complete.
Latin Love Affair, it was.
I kept looking for the Chocolate Pecan Cake part of the dessert but it was NOWHERE to be found LOL.
Asked our server and he mentioned that the dessert components were infused to make up the plate.
Hmmm [with a side eye].
My taste buds were salivating for Chocolate.
I was a bit disappointed.
Overall, dinner experience was great!
Had a lovely evening and enjoyed the food.
