Terrace Tapas Bar & Lounge @ Catalonia Maroma Beach Resort Mexico

Excited to share some Food Porn from the Terrace Tapas Bar & Lounge at the Catalonia Maroma Beach Resort in Mexico, where the Hubby and I enjoyed my Birthday getaway!


First let me say that this resort was  M A R A V I L L O S O (marvelous in Spanish). Every single staff member we encountered from the time we arrived to the time we left was beyond pleasant and ensured that all our needs were met.


Terrace Tapas Bar & Lounge is one of the 3 restaurants on the resort that are not included in the all-inclusive package unless you are a Privileged or Exclusive Travel Club Member.

The views during the day were breathtaking.

Here are the delicious and succulent meals we enjoyed!

Breakfast: The Pastries and Toast Basket was really good.


I stuck with the French Toast, Omelette with Mushrooms, Bacon and Onions with a little side of Fresh Fruits (Papaya, Watermelon, Pineapple and Melon). I had this every morning.


The fruits were deliciously sweet especially the Papaya, naturally sweet and all I needed was my little squeeze of Lemon.


Perfect to start my day before hitting the beach!


Lunch: I tried their Buffalo Wings with French Fries for Lunch. I mean you could really tell that the Chicken was organic and not processed compared to what we eat in the US.



The Buffalo taste/sauce were not as over-powering as what I’m used to but I loved it!

The frozen Pina Colada was perfect with my meal and the only drink I had during our whole stay.

For dessert, the Mango Sorbet on a little Crispy Sesame bowl, was amazing!


Dinner: A 3-course meal with a welcome drink, Sparkling Peach Cooler.


We kicked off our dinner with what tasted like a Cheese ball.


Then came our Appetizers, whose names I cannot remember.

Blame it on the Pina Coladas!


Before our main course, we were served a Peach shot to clean our pallets.


Then came dinner.

Juicy Tenderloin for me and Roasted Chicken for the Hubby.

Not only was the Tenderloin ON POINT but the Hubby’s Chicken dish was the most tender piece of Chicken I have ever had in my whole life.

You’re wondering if we also had dessert, right?


The food was just D E L I C I O S O.
