Exquisite Seafood @ McCormick & Schmick’s

Birthdays call for C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-I-O-N !!! (well at least in my book)

We basked in a regal Seafood Escape for my Hubby’s Birthday this year with family and close friends at McCormick and Schmick’s located at the National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

GREAT CHOICE, especially since Terence loves Crabcakes.

The National Harbor was popping, crowded, the weather was nice + it was Memorial Day weekend.

Everybody and their mama were OUT!

The Harbor in itself has such a variety of restaurants, a couple of bars, attractions.

Perfect location at have a staycation TOO, which is what we did!

Back to McCormick and Schmick’s.

Let me start by saying that dinner was A M A Z I N G!

Hubby and I set dinner off with Coconut Shrimp, with a glass of Caposaldo Moscato for moi and a Margarita pour lui.

Not every Coconut Shrimp I’ve had was as good as this one!

IT WAS SO GOOD that the goodness was unexpected.

The Orange Horseradish Marmalade added a layer of sweetness to it.

Nadine, a friend of ours, went for the Shrimp Kisses, wrapped in bacon.

Bacon is HEAVEN and makes EVERYTHING taste better!

Look at that shrimp and bacon goodness.

Doesn’t it make you hangry?

I am salivating!!!!

The Crabcake lover that he is, Hubby went for the Lump Crabcake Seafood Specialty, served with Poblano Tartar sauce and a Roasted Potato Medley with Onions and Vegetables.

(Forgot to take a pic)

It looked so good!

I love seafood and I did not hesitate to go for one of the Mixed Grill Selections,

Ultimate Mixed Grill.

Stuffed Shrimp, Salmon, Crabcake, Mashed Potatoes topped with Potato Chips, Grilled Shrimp + Green Beans.

I ATE IT ALL!

Crabcake was meaty, NO FILLERS. PERFECT.

The food was LICIOUS.

And to top it off, service was beyond great!

Our waitress, Bethlehem (yes, that was her name) was so patient and wore a smile

on her face from beginning to end = EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE.

We closed this escape with a delicious Grand Marnier Cake from Stella’s Bakery.
