BOUFFISTA’S ANNIVERSARY BRUNCH

Two of the most important advice that I have learned over the past few years are:

Follow Your Passion || Do What You Love & Love What You Do

I have been a Food Blogger for the past six years and I have enjoyed every single bit of it.

I do not earn or seek any form of revenue by doing this.

Being a blogger is something that I truly enjoy, my HAPPINESS.

Amidst blogging and publishing restaurant reviews came my desire to share my love and passion for food through catering.

I have been blessed with opportunities to cater home gatherings, retreats and other events with the support and encouragement of family and friends.

To show my appreciation and gratitude to the family and friends who have played a tremendous role throughout this journey, I hosted Bouffista’s Anniversary Brunch, to give them a taste of what’s to come with Bouffitsta’s Kitchen (my Catering Business).

Bouffista Kitchen’s values:

Professionalism || Quality Food || Luxury Service

Every single table setting element was carefully picked by yours truly.

I wanted to create a warm and welcoming environment through all of these aspects.

My friend and sister, Eurykah Fon Ndumu (Owner of Asheris Events Planning and Design Services), assisted with setting the beautiful and gorgeous décor with fresh white & yellow lilies and roses.

For the menu, I wanted my guests to bask in the deliciousness of some of my favorite brunch dishes, prepared with love.

After a little break from the main dishes, I surprised my guests with a West African Culinary Favorite:

  1. Everything was indead perfect! Lovely!!
Also, your writing & blogging skills are impeccable. Well done sis.

  2. As someone who has known you since childhood I must say that I am so incredibly proud of you and in awe of how hard you work to chase your dreams. I am so excited to witness Bouffista grow and experience its awesomeness first-hand.

Bon, now that I’m done being mushy on to the serious stuff. People, if you haven’t tasted Bouffista’s cuisine you are missing out! This is culinary/catering perfection! From your first inquiry through completion of your order Bouffista treats you with absolute professionalism. Her enthusiasm about food, cooking, and most of all satisfying her clients is immeasurable. She’s also really knowledgeable about flavor pairings which is extremely helpful when placing a catering order, as she provides helpful suggestions on food combinations and accompanying side dishes. Her prices are also incredibly reasonable. Cooking for her is truly a labor of love. But most importantly her food tastes AMAZING!

I’ve had the pleasure of tasting Bouffista’s cooking at various social events over the years, but I was particularly impressed with a recent catering order I made for a family gathering. I ordered her poulet yassa with rice. Guys…it was nothing short of incredible! First, Bouffista is extremely generous with the size of her orders. But the chicken itself was tender, well-seasoned, and so flavorful. Every single one of my guests asked where I’d ordered the dish from and went for seconds and thirds. We still had chicken left over after the gathering, and I enjoyed it just as much the second day and for a few days after that (and anyone who knows me knows that I normally don’t love leftovers after the second day lol). All this to say, if you haven’t tried Bouffista, what are you waiting for? Get on it!

Happy anniversary babe – shine on!
