After 3 failed attempts of enjoying some delicious Italian food in the small neighborhood, known as Little Italy in Cleveland, Ohio, Yelp surely came to the rescue.
About 5 miles up Mayfield Road and located on a little strip mall was Bangkok Thai Cuisine.
For a Friday night, it did not appear busy at all, which raised a little question in my head:
“Is the food good here?”
Not all Thai restaurants have good Thai food, wouldn’t you agree?
I love Thai Cuisine and I’m very picky about it.
An ugly photo can turn me off but in this case, the five stars reviews made it a go for me.
We were immediately seated in a booth and welcomed by a lovely waitress, with a warm attitude and big smile on her face.
For drinks, 2 glasses of Moscato.
Our appetizer choice: Shrimp in a Blanket, which our waitress stated was a customer fave.
We were not disappointed.
It was crispy, fresh, just a great start to our dining experience.
In the mean time, we placed our entree choices and continued to enjoy our appetizer.
It did not take long at all for our entrees to be served, which were also both recommended by our waitress.
The Bangkok Fried Rice.
Have you ever had something so good that there was literally nothing to say?
The dish was composed of perfectly cooked stir-fried rice with chicken, shrimp, egg, onions and green onions in a chili sauce.
This statement does not only go for the Bangkok Fried Rice but also for the Crazy Noodles.
The dish was composed of stir-fry noodles, egg, Thai chili sauce, onion, vegetables, basil and red peppers.
We also tried their Mango with Black Sticky Rice but unfortunately were not fans.
Don’t let the last comment deter you from this restaurant.
It’s super casual, they serve great food and offer great service.
All of the above, in my opinion, is all you need for a perfect foodie escapade.
